      <title>O Canada!</title>
      <description>I&amp;#8217;ve got quite a few Canadian friends, only partly due to my being an &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Object_Technology_International"&gt;&lt;span class="caps"&gt;OTI&lt;/span&gt; alumnus&lt;/a&gt;. So it seems appropriate, albeit completely off-topic, to wish them all a happy &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Day"&gt;F&#234;te du Canada&lt;/a&gt;, and a Canada Day Joyeux!
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#8217;m a little surprised that neither the &lt;a href="http://www.google.com"&gt;American&lt;/a&gt; nor the &lt;a href="http://www.google.ca"&gt;Canadian&lt;/a&gt; google sites seem to have acknowledged today&amp;#8217;s date at least as of this writing.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
